Job SummaryParticipates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services | Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions | Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids

- Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.
- Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
- Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.
- Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
- Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.
- Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Finance or Business preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Organizational skills. Oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Leadership skills.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
No or very little travel likely.
