Project Manager – Civil​/Earthwork & Utilities

We are a well-established, privately held civil construction contractor based in the Puget Sound region, specializing in earthwork, underground utilities, and site development for commercial and residential projects. We’re known for a strong team culture, high standards in the field, and consistent execution for repeat clients.

We are looking to add an experienced Project Manager who takes pride in their work, is highly organized, and enjoys leading projects from handoff to closeout.

Location: Greater Seattle / North Sound (In-Office)

Industry: Civil Construction | Earthwork | Utilities

• Manage projects from post-estimate through final completion
• Review and negotiate contract scope of work
• Set up and manage project budgets in coordination with accounting
• Control costs and manage dollars throughout the project lifecycle
• Solicit, evaluate, and award subcontractor work as needed
• Buy out aggregate, pipe, and project-related materials
• Coordinate field operations, resolve issues, and manage scope changes
• Price and submit change orders
• Prepare and submit accurate billings per client requirements
• Track receivables and assist with collections when necessary
• Lead pre-job and post-job meetings
• Review daily reports, timecards, and project documentation for accuracy

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in civil construction
• Proven background in earthwork and underground utilities
• Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, and change management
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
• Clear communicator who works well with field teams, subcontractors, and owners
• Proficient with MS Office
• Experience with HCSS (Heavy Bid / Heavy Job) strongly preferred
• Experience with Viewpoint Vista is a plus
• Willingness to work in-office and be actively involved with the team
