The Superintendent is a full‑time, on‑site role based out of Bothell, WA, responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day construction activities for clinical practice projects. This role coordinates subcontractors and site staff, ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards, and maintains compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes. The Superintendent manages daily site logs, monitors progress, and promptly addresses field issues and changes.
They collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and clients to support effective communication, resolve construction challenges, and maintain a clean, organized job site. The role also involves conducting regular inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting project close‑out activities.
- Experience supervising construction projects, preferably in commercial or healthcare facility environments.
- Strong skills in site coordination, scheduling, and daily field management.
- Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve on‑site issues and manage change in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic construction management tools and documentation (daily logs, reports, RFIs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Previous Superintendent or foreperson experience; experience with design‑build projects is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or relevant degree in construction management or a related field is beneficial.
