Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Dean of Student Learning, the Mathematics Faculty will develop, teach and assess courses, while assisting in the development of new courses that globalize the curriculum. Math faculty are expected to teach a variety of courses from pre-college through Calculus and Differential Equations. The Faculty provides leadership and contributes to the implementation and enhancement of Cascadia's curriculum and course of study.
As the Mathematics Faculty Member, it is expected that the following qualities will be demonstrated daily: a high degree of understanding and empathy for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors, as well as the ability to encourage the inclusion of all voices in decision-making, promoting equity in all areas, and actively working against institutionalized norms of oppression against historically marginalized people.

Initial Salary: $78,718.19 - $97,054.10 (includes 5% King County Premium Pay)
