Seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support students and teachers in an educational setting. This contract opportunity takes place in a school environment located conveniently near Bothell, with easy access to Seattle, Everett, Snohomish, Marysville, and Lake Stevens. If you have a passion for helping students thrive and enjoy working collaboratively with educators, this role could be the ideal fit.

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:
  • Prior experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with classroom routines and instructional assistance techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly and positively with students, teachers, and staff
  • Experience supporting students with learning, behavioral, or physical challenges is highly valued
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (some positions may require additional certifications)
  • Patience, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist classroom teachers by reinforcing instructional activities and monitoring student progress
  • Support students individually or in small groups according to teacher direction
  • Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Aid students with mobility, communication, and/or personal care needs as necessary
  • Prepare and organize materials, support transitions between activities, and document student performance
  • Collaborate with educators and specialists to adapt tasks and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
