Title: Lecturer Part-Time Temporary, Mathematics – recruitment pool
Position DescriptionThe Engineering & Mathematics Department of the School of STEM at the University of Washington Bothell requests qualified candidates for short‑term, temporary instructional positions throughout the 2025‑26 academic year (Sept 16 – Jun 15). Appointments are made on a quarterly basis and are renewable; the FTE and compensation are prorated based on the assigned workload. The full‑time base is $6,000 per month, with FTE and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Teaching responsibilities will include one to seven of the following courses (subject to instructional needs):
- B MATH 121 – Algebraic and Quantitative Reasoning
- B MATH 122 – Precalculus I:
Algebraic Functions - B MATH 123 – Precalculus II:
Transcendental Functions - B MATH 144 – Calculus for the Life and Social Sciences
- B MATH 215 – Statistics for Health Sciences
- STMATH 207 – Introduction to Differential Equations
- STMATH 208 – Matrix Algebra with Applications
• Masters degree in mathematics or related field required by time of appointment.
