Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Student Learning Program Operations and Support, the Faculty Support Liaison is the main point person for all aspects of faculty support including new faculty onboarding processes, office assignments, tracking faculty observations and professional development, and syllabi and office hours tracking. This position processes quarterly associate faculty contracts and full-time faculty moonlight contracts in accordance with established timelines, and processes faculty additional duties and quarterly internships compensation.
Job duties are specific to supporting the Student Learning Deans and Directors, and with the faculty who report to them. The Faculty Support Liaison provides administrative support to faculty-led committees, maintains internal faculty resources, and ensures accurate record keeping, and includes coordination with external departments like Information Technology Services, Human Resources, Finance, and Marketing and Communications.

Initial Salary: $4,633 - $5,240 Monthly DOE + 5% King County Premium Pay (KCPP)

Assistant Director of Student Learning Program Operations and Support
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding process and all necessary resources for new and returning faculty and staff including office space, email accounts, badge access, and access to various faculty resources such as Canvas and Share Point
- Process and track all faculty workload & class assignments including quarterly full-time faculty moonlight contracts and associate faculty contracts in ctcLink according to established timelines
- Track and process faculty additional duties and stipend payments
- Coordinate with HR compliance officer to stay up-to date on updates to the faculty Contract Bargained Agreement (CBA) and ensure Student Learning processes are aligned with contract requirements
- Submit, track, and report forms and contracts for quarterly internships, service learning, and student independent studies
- Maintain and track faculty observation and promotion status documentation for Probationary, Associate, and Priority Hire faculty
- Collect, process, and track faculty course syllabi and office hours each quarter, and assure this information is correct and accessible to others
- Budget tracking and record keeping for program-specific grants and various Student Learning committees such as the Teaching Learning Academy (TLA)
- Track faculty professional development budgets, track status, usage, and available funds
- Submit faculty-related expense reports and travel authorizations
- Schedule meetings, record, and disseminate notes for Student Learning faculty-focused committees including Division Chairs, the Teaching and Learning Academy (TLA), and Faculty Assembly Facilitators
