Senior Electrical Engineer – Spacecraft Power Systems & Bus Architecture

• Own the design, development, and test of discrete avionics hardware and assemblies
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting documentation for targeted hardware
• Bring up hardware from first power‑on through functional and environmental testing
• Debug and resolve issues at the board and subsystem level
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and software engineers to ensure clean interfaces and successful integration
• Support spacecraft-level integration, test, and troubleshooting activities
• Perform design reviews, test planning, and hardware readiness assessments

• 2+ years of experience designing, building, and testing electrical hardware for embedded, aerospace, robotics, automotive, medical, or other high‑reliability systems
• Experience developing schematics and PCB layouts using modern ECAD tools (Altium or similar)
• Hands‑on experience bringing up and debugging hardware in the lab
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment

• 4+ years industry experience, M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with spacecraft avionics, power systems, or embedded control hardware
• Prior ownership of power management hardware or RF and antenna subsystems at the board or unit level
• Experience interfacing hardware with embedded software or firmware
• Exposure to environmental testing, EMI/EMC considerations, or flight qualification testing
• Demonstrated ability to independently own a well‑scoped hardware project from design through delivery
