Overview
Procurement Project Manager (Bothell, WA) is an individual contributor responsible for handling procurement projects for Oral Healthcare, ensuring alignment with project objectives, specifications, timelines, and resource requirements, under general supervision.
Responsibilities- Initiate and plan projects ensuring alignment with project objectives, specifications, timelines, and resource requirements; manage the savings funnel by tracking cost-saving initiatives, monitoring progress against targets, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization; participate in phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) planning related to new product introduction and lifecycle management (LCM) activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and alignment with procurement goals.
- Execute comprehensive project management plans, outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocations to guide project execution and control; oversee project progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project plans and procurement standards; identify and resolve project issues and risks, escalating critical issues to stakeholders as necessary, and provide regular updates and reports on status, milestones, risks, and issues.
- Draft project documentation and records, including project plans, meeting minutes, and status reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for project team members and stakeholders; ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations; promote integrity and a culture of transparency within the procurement function; apply best practices in project management and procurement to drive procurement excellence.
- You’ve acquired 2+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemical Engineering (preferred) OR 4+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Agile Methodology or equivalent.
- Your skills include experience in a consumer-driven business, sourcing/procuring materials, and strengthening supply resilience through proactive risk identification, supplier performance management, and continuity planning.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management OR Vocational Education in Project Management or equivalent.
- You must be able to perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an Office role.
