What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of new or modified products, from concept through testing and production release.
- Resolve complex production and design challenges using expert-level technical knowledge across multiple disciplines.
- Develop and implement production capabilities, procedures, and quality protocols to ensure efficient and consistent manufacturing.
- Oversee or perform product testing, analyze results, and establish corrective actions to meet quality standards.
- Guide engineers and technicians, manage project timelines, and lead cost reduction or process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with demonstrated success in product design and development.
- Proficiency in Solid Works and MS Office, with strong technical skills in fabrication, coatings, castings, or machining.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving abilities; able to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Expert knowledge in at least two of the following manufacturing processes; welding, forming, drawing, forming metal, casting and rubber molding.
