I’ve partnered with Genie, part of the Terex Group, who are seeking an Automation Manager to lead a global automation transformation across five sites.
This role will own the full automation architecture across assembly, welding, fabrication, material handling, and paint operations, driving the transition from manual processes to semi-automated solutions.
- Location – Washington State
- Full Relocation Package Available - Salary: up to $210k + Bonus + Additional Benefits
- Lead multi-site automation upgrade strategy and translate vision into executable manufacturing roadmaps.
- Drive global automation initiatives across highly-complex production lines covering a rang off manufacturing process
- Oversee deployment of cobots, digital inspection, robotics, PLCs, SCADA, MES vision, and digitization systems.
- Integrate automation with MES and enterprise platforms such as ERP, PLM, and Quality Systems.
- Lead large-scale, multi-site automation programs from concept through optimization.
- Support Engineering teams in CAPEX planning, ROI analysis, budgets, timelines, and overall project performance.
- Partner with senior leadership to align automation strategy with business goals and growth priorities.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing automation engineering teams globally.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing automation, controls, or digital operations.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, digital operations, and MES integration.
- Expertise in Industry 4.0, smart factory concepts, robotics, and digital manufacturing technologies.
- Strong background in highly-complex production processes
- Experience applying AI and advanced automation technologies in manufacturing environments.
- Experience managing CAPEX projects, budgets, and automation investment planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
