Operations Specialist

Akkodis is seeking an Operations Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Bothell, WA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in product lifecycle management (PLM), document control, and engineering operations, along with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Operations Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Own and administer PLM systems (e.g., Aras, Windchill, Arena), including BOM updates, ticket management, workflows, and data accuracy.
• Lead change management processes (ECR/ECO/DEV), including facilitating triage meetings and tracking progress.
• Drive process improvements across engineering, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Support cross-functional coordination between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams.
• Assist with engineering program management activities, including schedule tracking and reporting updates to leadership.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering operations, PLM systems, or technical program support.
• Experience working in hardware development and manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLM tools (Aras, Windchill, Arena preferred).
• Experience with document control, change management, and product lifecycle processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Preferred:
  Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, automotive).

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
