Key skills:
Experience exercising Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) applications, such as STAR-CCM+, for aerodynamic and aerothermodynamic characterization.

• Demonstrate required engineering skills, enthusiasm and interest in business, and an aptitude for working with internal and external customers to achieve assigned tasks.
• Undertake administrative and support tasks for the Munitions Engineering department, providing an opportunity to apply basic engineering skills in a highly active environment.
• Progressively be assigned tasks of increasing complexity appropriate to level of education and skills.
• Familiarity with CAD or CAE applications, such as CREO, to create and/or modify part and assembly level geometry.
• Experience with lower‑order aerodynamic predictive tools such as Missile Datcom for aerodynamic characterization.
• Experience with wind tunnel testing and aerodynamic database development.
• Apply standard practices and techniques in the completion of specific assignments; prepare data for analysis by experienced engineers.
• Conduction of engineering analysis of simple problems relating to overall design of gas generation systems, limited application of standard principles.
• Perform trade studies and parametric analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with general‑purpose modeling codes such as Matlab and Simulink.

$23.58 - $28.17

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
