Position Location
This position is located in region 10, Response Planning, Bothell, Washington.
EligibilityCurrent Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or an equivalent grade band in the Federal service.
QualificationsTo qualify for this position at the GS-14 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal government. The following experience is required:
- Assisting with the creation of, or creating, emergency management plans or products (e.g., emergency response plans, response guidance documents, response procedural plans, response transition documents, etc.).
- Providing technical and administrative management or supervision to a staff that supports the development of crisis action plans (i.e., all concept plans, operational plans, and incident action plans).
Additionally, the position requires significant leadership and management experience with intergovernmental coordination planning for catastrophic or other incidents, as well as a strong background in leading and managing a diverse team.
