    This position will initially require onsite work for up to the first six months, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter. The department is committed to supporting work-life balance through a flexible hybrid work arrangement, which includes one designated work-from-home day per week or as operationally appropriate.
What will you do in this position?
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate programs, projects, grants, and operational initiatives across all divisions within the Community Development Department.
  • Provide analytical support for long-range and current planning initiatives, including Comprehensive Plan updates and implementation efforts.
  • Analyze and report on land use, housing, and development trends by developing performance metrics, tracking key indicators, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure accurate financial reporting, budget monitoring, and grant/project expenditure tracking.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, coordinate with stakeholders, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.

  • Apply objective reasoning and action, maintaining perspective when evaluating both qualitative and quantitative information.
