Hope RISING Clinic is a division of Wonderland Child & Family Services which is a multi-program agency serving children from birth through age 12 with developmental delays, disabilities, and prenatal substance exposure. Founded 50 years ago, Wonderland’s mission is to provide a strong and equitable foundation for children and their families with diverse needs and abilities to flourish through therapy, education, advocacy, and resources.

We reach hundreds of families every month through Early Childhood Programs & Services and Hope RISING Clinic for Prenatal Substance Exposure. Our direct service providers are uniquely trained to provide trauma‑and FASD‑informed care.

About the Position

Wonderland Child & Family Services is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our innovative, transdisciplinary team at Hope Rising Clinic (HRC). This unique role integrates pediatric occupational therapy with a strong mental health and neurobehavioral lens, serving children ages 3–12 with prenatal substance exposure (PSE) and their caregivers.

At HRC, you’ll be part of a nationally recognized model that blends direct therapy, caregiver coaching, and structured education to create meaningful, lasting change for families. Services are provided both in our Bothell clinic and via telehealth, allowing for flexibility and broader impact.

Pay and Benefits
  • This is a full‑time, hybrid position with a starting salary range of $87,000 - $107,000 and a $2000 hiring bonus
  • Role is expected to be 25% remote / 75% in‑person, subject to change based on family and agency need

Note:

Benefits are available to employees working at least 20 hours per week and costs vary by FTE.

This is not a traditional OT role. At Hope Rising Clinic, you’ll:

Clinical Services
  • Provide evidence‑based occupational therapy focused on emotion regulation and executive functioning, sensory processing, strengthening caregiver–child attachment
  • Deliver services using a neurobehavioral, brain‑based approach emphasizing accommodation and support
  • Implement structured, evidence‑based models (training provided), including caregiver coaching and therapeutic play approaches
  • Work directly with both children and caregivers to maximize outcomes
  • Facilitate a 10 session Caregiver Education Program, introducing families to PSE and the neurobehavioral framework
  • Co‑facilitating social skills groups, supporting both child and caregiver
Assessment & Care Planning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary intake assessments
  • Collaborate with team members and caregivers to develop individualized goals and treatment plans
  • Track progress and update functional outcomes
Collaboration & Consultation
  • Actively participate in a transdisciplinary team
  • Serve as a liaison with medical providers, schools, and community partners
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and occasional trainings for staff and caregivers
Documentation & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reports
  • Manage scheduling and caseload responsibilities
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to clinic initiatives
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Additional Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Washington State OT license
  • Minimum one year of experience working with children and families
