HR/Office Manager
Bothell, WA
Our client is a well-established, privately held company looking for an HR/Office Managerto take ownership of day-to-day HR and Office operations while partnering with leadership to support employees, compliance, and company culture.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working independently across recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.
HR/Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, policies, and compliance.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Manage employee relations, investigations, performance concerns, and terminations.
- Administer benefits, leave programs, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims.
- Coordinate employee engagement, company events, and recognition initiatives.
- Partner with managers on training, development, and employee needs.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation.
- Manage HRIS systems and identify opportunities to improve processes and automation.
- Support employment law and benefits compliance requirements.
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees and leadership.
- Oversee other office management duties as needed
HR/Office Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification a plus.
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience independently managing an HR function.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance.
- Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and handle confidential information.
- Adaptable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
