Systems Engineer
This modern, profitable, and well-established technology consulting firm — supporting 500+ clients across the Western U.S. — is hiring a Senior Internal Systems Engineer to join their team.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll design and optimize the infrastructure that powers the organization. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged and growth is constant.
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000
Availability: On-site: can be located and work from any of the company's three offices;
Bothell, WA | Chandler, AZ | Spokane Valley, WA
- Design, implement, and maintain internal infrastructure (servers, networking, virtualization, endpoints)
- Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and security
- Lead vulnerability management, patching, and compliance initiatives
- Drive disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Manage change control and technical documentation (SOPs, diagrams, structured procedures)
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies
- Provide Tier 1–2 escalation support as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation
- 5+ years of systems or infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments
- Strong background in networking and virtualization
- Hands‑on experience with Azure, Intune, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Backup and recovery systems experience
- Power Shell or automation scripting skills
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management and secure configurations
- Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, Security+, or similar preferred
