• 40 hours per week
• Starting hours 8:00am - 4:00pm; after about one month move to 11:00am - 7:00pm; eventually shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting – hands-on support for lab/benchtop instruments, PCs, and applications
• System & Network Administration – manage servers, workstations, networks, security patches, connectivity, and hardware/software environments
• GxP / GMP Compliance & Data Integrity Knowledge – understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA/EU), data integrity, documentation practices, system validation, and regulated pharma/biotech environments
• Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration – lead or support projects and coordinate with lab staff, quality teams, IT, manufacturing, and global partners
• Data Management & Cybersecurity Awareness – backups, storage, recovery, system security, access control, and reliable, secure compliant data handling

The role provides IT support in the Digital Plant organization, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining compliance for GxP benchtop systems and instrumentation, as well as site and global applications used within the manufacturing, quality, and quality control organizations. The specialist must possess passion for IT, validation, and compliance, and project management and business analyst skills to work with diverse cross‑functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, computer field or equivalent experience
• Experience working in regulated industries such as Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Medical Devices, supporting benchtop instruments and applications in a GxP compliant manufacturing or laboratory setting
• Demonstrated track record of IT support in a fast-paced regulated environment supporting benchtop instruments, quality and lab applications

• Provide support and enhancements for administration of benchtop instrumentation applications, PC hardware, and IT administrative tools within a GxP environment (e.g., cello meters, plate readers, flow cytometers across site)
• Support administration of quality and laboratory applications including their software development life cycle activities and technical support
• Own assets and use client systems to support changes, incidents, problems, and asset management activities for benchtop equipment and lab and quality systems
• Execute and update documentation for support of benchtop equipment and lab and quality systems to ensure assets are reliable, accessible, and secure
• Execute and/or lead multiple projects and technical work assignments as a point of contact for project stakeholders
• Lead or provide supporting activities within the quality management system (Infinity)
• Act as liaison with global partners to align on solutions and implementation plans for benchtop instrumentation, perform system installations, configurations, administrative functions, validation life cycles, and training
• Provide local administrative support and liaise with global partners for site quality systems and quality control supporting applications (application periodic reviews, user access reviews, account administration)
• Provide digital plant subject-matter expertise to multi-function teams, advising operations on application configurations, data integrity, cyber security, and defense before regulatory agencies
• Ensure alignment with client directives and industry guidelines for applications
• Execute technology improvements and efficiency opportunities to improve business and compliance
• Provide on-call support as needed for commercial operations
