Overview
Senior Clinic RN in Hematology Oncology — you’ll be at the forefront of compassionate, specialized care, supporting patients through challenging journeys. This role combines advanced clinical skills with empathy, leadership, and purpose.
The Senior Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment based on individual physical, emotional, spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. This position facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs via direct and telephonic/telehealth or electronic encounters. This role works in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
The Clinic RN maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and supports clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients. Actions reflect the organization s core values.
- Integrates nursing process in carrying out effective patient care and leadership roles.
- Utilizes a collegial and systematic approach to nursing practice.
- Contributes to quality assurance, process improvement, infection control, and staff development program initiatives and oversight.
- Adheres to state regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Provides specialized care in an assigned specialty department, applying critical thinking, experience, knowledge, and demonstrated competency in patient pre-admission screenings, preadmission, intra-procedure and recovery of patients.
- Collaborates with other clinicians to deliver patient-centered care in ambulatory settings.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school
- Bachelor s Degree in Nursing, or Associate s Degree in Nursing (AND) with 4 years experience as a registered nurse

National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association - 3 years professional nursing experience
- Upon hire:
Provider ACLS
- American Heart Association - Upon hire:
Provider PALS
- American Heart Association - Upon hire:
National Certification in area of clinical practice - 2 years ambulatory nursing experience; if specialty, experience in specialty clinic preferred

Additional InformationSalary range: $46.74 - $73.78 per hour. The base pay range may be augmented by shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
