School Nurse (Float) – Contract Position

We’re hiring a Float School Nurse for a contract position in Bothell, WA for the 2026–2027 school year, with the potential for extension. This role supports multiple school sites across the district and is ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety and adaptability in their day-to-day work.

• Schedule: 35 hours per week
• Setting: School health/clinic rooms
• Population: Students of all ages
• Float Position: Travel between school sites as needed to provide coverage and support
• Compensation: Pay Range: $48.00 – $51.75/hour

• Provide health services and coverage across multiple school sites
• Administer medications and support student health plans
• Monitor and respond to:
  • Allergic reactions (Epi Pen use)
  • Diabetes care
• Perform triage and assess student health concerns
• Act as a liaison between parents, school staff, and healthcare providers
• Experience with pediatric care and school health protocols
• Comfortable working independently and adapting to different school environments
