School Registered Nurse; RN) in Bothell, WA

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for pediatric care to support students in a dynamic school environment in the surrounding areas. Two immediate openings are available for the upcoming school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individual students’ educational experiences.

Available Schedules:

• Position 1:
  Part-time, 4 hours per day, 4 days per week — 1:1 assignment with a preschool student.
• Position 2:
  Full-time — details to be provided.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Washington state).
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Pediatric nursing experience, especially with students requiring medical interventions, is strongly desired.
• Knowledge and proficiency in tracheostomy care and G-tube management.
• Compassion, patience, and excellent observational abilities.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and educational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive 1:1 nursing care to students with complex health needs throughout the school day.
• Conduct ongoing airway assessment and perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning and ventilator support as required.
• Administer enteral feedings via G-tube and assist with PO feeding for students at aspiration risk, following parental guidance.
• Offer support for students with visual impairments and assist with mobility and transfers for safety.
• Handle toileting needs, including diapering and hygiene care.
• Ride the school bus with assigned student to ensure safety during transportation.
• Administer medications and document care according to school policies.
