Position Overview
Immunome seeks a cancer biologist to develop and champion novel therapeutic concepts and engineer next‑generation ADC therapeutics by leveraging expertise in cancer biology, drug resistance mechanisms, and pharmacology. In partnership with cross‑functional teams, lead the discovery, optimization, and nomination of new drug candidates for clinical development.
Responsibilities- Apply oncology and ADC pharmacology to formulate new therapeutic concepts.
- Lead preclinical discovery for novel ADC technologies: linker/payload discovery through target selection, therapeutic design, in vitro/in vivo characterization, optimization, candidate nomination, and IND‑enabling studies.
- Ensure cross‑functional integration with antibody discovery, chemistry, translational sciences, program management, CMC, and clinical development; represent the biology perspective.
- Monitor ADC technology developments and integrate relevant advancements into program strategies.
- Contribute to patent filings, publications, and external presentations.
- Prepare and review regulatory documents, including IND submissions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related fields.
- 4+ years project leadership experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry in preclinical drug development (immunology or oncology).
- Experience designing/interpreting in vitro and in vivo ADC assays (target expression/internalization, payload MoA, PK/PD, efficacy).
- Deep understanding of ADC design principles and the impact of target, antibody, and linker‑payload properties on safety and efficacy.
