Role Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research studies end to end (sampling, instrument design, statistical analysis) to uncover customer pain points and workflows, without relying on external vendors.
- Translate findings into actionable insights for product design and development.
- Integrate AI into research workflows to accelerate study design, data collection, analysis, and synthesis while maintaining methodological rigor.
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features using user impact and KPIs.
- Manage multiple research projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Mentor junior researchers and promote best practices.
- Advocate for customer-centric solutions within engineering teams.
- Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Basic
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Human-Centered Design, Psychology, Market Research, or related field; quantitative/statistics background.
- 7+ years (Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (Master’s) in CX/UX/product research with hands-on delivery.
- Proficiency in qualitative research, experimentation, usability; applied statistics (experimental design, power analysis, significance testing) for behavioral/telemetry data.
- Hands-on ability to plan, field, and analyze studies/tests/experiments without external vendors (e.g., Python/R; tools/software such as Qualtrics, SPSS).
- Experience integrating AI into research workflows.
- Ability to synthesize complex qualitative/behavioral data; agile experience.
- Proficiency with User Zoom, Qualtrics, Medallia, or similar.
- Behavioral insights applied to product design; strong PM/cross-functional leadership; excellent communication.
- Annual base salary: $124,400–$207,400; bonus target 17.5% + eligibility for long-term incentive; 401(k) matching; paid time off; caregiver/parental leave; health benefits (medical, dental, vision).
