Heidelberg Materials is on the lookout for a proactive Sales Representative to spearhead our sales and marketing initiatives for Ready-Mix Concrete. The ideal candidate will strengthen our customer base and manage their pipeline and orderbook, ensuring accurate sales volume forecasts.

* ** Leadership & Supervision** – Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products.
* ** Customer Management** - Identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

* ** Commercial Management** - Negotiate complex contracts and pricing agreements with customers.

* ** Sales Excellence** - Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations, quotes, and personally field any potential customer issues.
* ** Process Improvement** – Lead and mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices and industry insights.
* ** Market Knowledge** - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth

** Collaborate with HM Washington Sales, Operations and Customer Service Managers to shape and execute the company’s strategic plan under the leadership of the Area Manager.

**** Knowledge:
*** Strong awareness of the concrete industry, its operational and commercial components.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
* Solid understanding of business operations.
* Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable medium and long-term plans.
* Expertise in managing sales cycles, prospecting, closing, and post-sale.
* Understanding of how to qualify and prioritize leads based on conversion rates

*** Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong collaboration skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes across internal and external teams.
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.

* Education and Experience:

*** Proven track record of achievement within the RMC industry 2+ years.
* Experience in project management.
* Understanding of commercial construction contracts.
* Previous experience with concrete quality testing and submittals.
* Strong ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Familiarity with sales analytics tools to assess sales performance, customer data, and market trends.
