What You'll Get To Do- Leadership & Supervision – Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Customer Management – Identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Technical Services – Provide technical support and product information to customers.
- Commercial Management – Negotiate complex contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
- Safety and Environment – Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Performance Management – Utilize CRM to ensure performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Sales Excellence – Prepare and deliver high‑impact sales presentations, quotes, and personally field any potential customer issues.
- Process Improvement – Lead and mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices and industry insights.
- Market Knowledge – Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Strive for Team Goals – Collaborate with HM Washington Sales, Operations and Customer Service Managers to shape and execute the company’s strategic plan under the leadership of the Area Manager.
- Strong awareness of the concrete industry, its operational and commercial components.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
- Solid understanding of business operations.
- Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable medium and long‑term plans.
- Expertise in managing sales cycles, prospecting, closing, and post‑sale.
- Understanding of how to qualify and prioritize leads based on conversion rates.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong collaboration skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes across internal and external teams.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry‑specific software.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities, including contract negotiations.
- Change management awareness and adaptability.
- Critical thinking skills for synthesizing insights and data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
- Proven track record of achievement within the RMC industry, 2+ years.
- Experience in project management.
- Understanding of commercial construction contracts.
- Previous experience with concrete quality testing and submittals.
- Strong ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with sales analytics tools to assess sales performance, customer data, and market trends.

- The role is expected to be in the office, but mostly out in the market, visiting plants, customer offices, job sites, and prospecting future projects.
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and computer systems; visual acuity required to read, verify, and enter various data from documents related to the work.
- Travel within the greater Seattle area.
- Have a valid State Driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record and be capable of maintaining a clean and insurable driving record.
