Senior Associate Scientist, Process Analytics

What You Will AchieveSupport Pfizer’s biotherapeutics portfolio by contributing to analytical testing for process development of antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).
How You Will Achieve It- Follow procedures with general instructions and work under moderate supervision with regular review
- Perform routine testing of in-process samples, pre‑formal stability support, and automation development
- Support process development activities
- Compile data, prepare presentations, and support lab automation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 0+ years
- Experience with analytical techniques (UPLC, CGE, icIEF)
- Strong problem‑solving and documentation skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Proficiency in using scientific software and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands‑on lab experience
- Strong background in experimental design and result interpretation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using personal computers for word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and scientific software
- Prior experience with in‑process analytical support for ADC or mAbs
- Experience with techniques such as SE‑UPLC, icIEF, CGE, Mass Spectrometry
- Familiarity with liquid handling robotics systems (Tecan, Hamilton)
- Experience with mass spectrometry software (Byosphere, Byos, Xcalibur)
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity
Some travel may be required.
Compensation & BenefitsThe annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
