What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Support restricted area protection by observing entry and exit activity, maintaining awareness of sensitive locations, and following post orders for handling weapons, equipment, and/or incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• One or more years of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience are required.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
