Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Location: Bothell
Pay: $22-$25 per hour, DOE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Possible schedules include 7:00AM-3:30PM or 8:00AM-4:30PM
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our manufacturing facility. This hands‑on role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, installation, and facility improvement tasks to ensure equipment, buildings, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong general repair skills, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently on a wide range of facility projects.
Responsibilities- Perform routine facility inspections and complete assigned maintenance work orders
- Support preventive maintenance programs for facility equipment and building systems
- Assist with maintenance of HVAC systems, air compressors, cooling towers, generators, plumbing, sewer systems, lighting, and other facility infrastructure
- Perform drywall repairs including patching holes and cracks
- Complete basic carpentry projects including framing, trim work, shelving installation, deck and fence repairs, and plywood installation
- Perform painting, staining, surface preparation, and finishing work for interior and exterior projects
- Repair and replace flooring materials including carpet tiles and floor markings/tape
- Perform minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets, unclogging drains, and other basic plumbing maintenance
- Complete basic non-licensed electrical work including replacing light fixtures, ceiling fans, mounting TVs, and running cables
- Assist with installation projects including shelving, blinds, curtains, appliances, furniture, mirrors, artwork, and facility equipment
- Perform outdoor maintenance including pressure washing, fence and gate repairs, weatherproofing, asphalt patching, and general grounds upkeep
- Repair grout, tiles, and perform minor concrete patching as needed
- Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, scrapers, and other cleaning equipment
- Clean machinery, production areas, offices, and facility infrastructure using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Transport materials and equipment using forklifts, scissor lifts, and other powered industrial equipment as trained
- Assist electricians, contractors, and outside service providers with facility projects
- Support facility improvement, renovation, and equipment installation projects
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment
- Assist with emergency repairs and urgent facility maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and all company safety policies
- Help prepare facility spaces for meetings, events, and operational activities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or a two‑year technical degree preferred
- Minimum one year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous facilities maintenance, handyman, construction, or building maintenance experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Proficiency using common hand and power tools including:
- Tape measures

- Drills
- Circular saws
- Reciprocating saws
- Box cutters
- Floor maintenance equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work
- Basic project planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees across multiple departments
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other powered industrial equipment with training
- Ability to interpret gauges, dials, and indicators to verify proper equipment operation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Requires good eye, hand, and foot coordination
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments
- May require working from ladders, lifts, or elevated work platforms
