Seatown, a leading fintech innovator, is seeking an HVAC Technician to support our HVAC Wholesale operations within the Technical & Maintenance department. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems that support our high-density financial software and data environments. You'll troubleshoot complex mechanical and controls issues, optimize system performance for server rooms and offices, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Collaborating with an inclusive, forward-thinking team, you'll access ongoing training, growth opportunities, and exposure to cutting-edge facility technologies.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues in HVAC equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units, split systems, and air handlers
- Support environmental control for server rooms, offices, and warehouse areas
- Monitor, test, and balance airflow, temperature, and humidity for optimal performance
- Ensure all work complies with safety, building, and environmental regulations
- Document work performed, parts used, and system status in maintenance logs/CMMSCoordinate with facility, technical, and vendor teams to plan and schedule work
- Respond to emergency HVAC issues and participate in on-call rotations as needed
- Recommend system upgrades and efficiency improvements to reduce downtime and energy use
Required Skills
- HVAC system installation and repair
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical HVAC faults
- Reading and interpreting HVAC schematics and blueprints
- Commercial refrigeration basics
- Building automation systems (BAS) and controls
- Use of HVAC diagnostic tools and instrumentation
- Air balancing and ventilation principles
- Brazing, soldering, and basic pipe fitting
- Knowledge of HVAC codes, EPA, and safety regulations
- Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
