Senior Engineers, Systems Reliability located in Bothell, WA will improve and protect the software and systems behind all of T‑Mobile's IT services, including management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity, and delivering software faster, better, and cheaper.
Position Duties and Responsibilities- Design and maintain CICD Pipelines to build the next generation of T‑Mobile applications on cloud‑native platforms.
- Enable great customer experience and product innovation by continuous improvement of operational support.
- Demonstrate fluency in emerging Dev Ops‑centric automation tools and technologies for CICD and configuration management for non‑prod environments.
- Perform environment management and automated server provisioning (VMs).
- Deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of T‑Mobile’s services.
- Create, manage, and use a dashboard for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improving the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for the non‑production environment.
- Contribute to future improvement of software delivery processes and operations such as cloud enablement and use of microservices with containerization.
- Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3‑4 days per week.
- No additional national or international travel is anticipated.
- Utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab, and Github, to perform continuous application deployments and changes with software versioning control.
- Utilizing APM tool App Dynamics and logging tool Splunk to perform application performance issues and ad‑hoc monitoring and reporting.
- Working on Windows/Unix or RHEL VM servers to perform patching and maintenance related activities on servers.
- Retrieving data by writing CQL/SQL related queries for reporting and analysis purposes.
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
