Welder - First Shift

Welding Position

Shift Hours
: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mon.

Starting Pay
:
Dependent on experience

• Read and interpret Welding drawings
• Follow work direction and training provided by higher level Welding personnel
• Perform Fit up assembly and Welding operations according to documented manufacturing procedures, such as Bill of Material (BOM), welding drawings and work instructions
• Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the fulfillment process
• Perform work at or above pre-established performance objectives
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations

• Ability to read and interpret Welding drawings, BOMs and associated procedures, including knowledge of weld symbols
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to identify and communicate basic process improvements
• Possess a mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks
• Proven reliability -- attendance and punctuality
• Ability to use and set up latest MIG and Pulse welding machines
• Ability to leak proof weld
• Basic Welding and Assembly tools needed

• High School diploma or GED
• 3-6 years Welding experience in MIG, TIG, or Pulse welding
