Licensed Practical Nurse

This role involves providing nursing services, training, and support to medically fragile individuals with disabilities, brain injuries, or behavioral health needs in a group home setting. Key responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents’ health, managing complex medical needs (e.g., colostomy, G-tube, oxygen therapy), and ensuring compliance with regulations. The nurse educates staff and families, maintains accurate documentation, coordinates medical appointments, and responds to emergencies.

Tasks also include assisting with resident mobility and transfers.

Qualifications include a current LPN license, strong clinical and documentation skills, and experience with medically fragile populations. Excellent communication, teamwork, and a compassionate approach are essential.
