We are seeking an Administrative Support professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service to clients, families, and colleagues.
This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week within our Clinic Shoreline program. The schedule for this position is three days a week 9am-5pm and two days a week from 12pm-8pm. Candidates must reside in Connecticut to be eligible for this position.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of busy outpatient clinics while creating a welcoming, respectful experience for clients and visitors. You will:
- Welcome clients and visitors, manage check-in processes, update client information, and support a positive clinic experience.
- Schedule appointments, maintain cancellation lists, backfill openings, and assist with provider calendars.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, releases, and electronic health record (EHR) information.
- Process insurance information, collect co-pays and other payments, and assist with record requests.
- Provide administrative support including correspondence, mail distribution, supply ordering, and front-office coordination.
- Collaborate with colleagues across clinic locations to ensure timely completion of daily administrative responsibilities.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of administrative, customer service, medical office, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn and navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience providing professional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
