This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. • Performs advanced actuarial and statistical analysis by applying the appropriate actuarial analytical tools to the data.
• Updates actuarial pricing, forecasting models as directed.
• Refines and collects appropriate data for actuarial analysis and ensures its reasonableness as well as accuracy by coordination within the division.
• Serves as informal mentor to other analysts on the team, guiding them through projects and advancing their analytical and technical skills.
• Performs key actuarial functions including new product pricing, evaluation of the impact of new legislation, flexible benefit consulting, and special projects.

• Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• ASA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).

• Advanced MS Excel experience (i.e. data modeling, complex functions, pivot tables, and creating dashboards for data visualization purposes) strongly preferred.
• Ability to write and optimize complex queries to ensure data integrity and reliability when cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets using SQL, SAS, or other data tools strongly preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills strongly preferred.
• Commercial health insurance experience preferred.

Salary: $126,720 to $207,360
