You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and work out of our Northford, CT location on a hybrid work schedule.

• Be involved with all phases of design from concept to deployment
• Be part of a multi-discipline engineering team developing exciting new life safety products for the connected world
• Collaborate with engineers and developers from around the globe
• Work in an Agile environment & create stories in Jira
• Attend daily scrum meetings
• Develop code and verify functionality of the coding

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree
• 1+ years of embedded firmware development and/or troubleshooting

• Ability to collaborate with a team
• Embedded C experience
• RTOS experience
• Embedded Linux development, HMI development and boot‑loader experience
• Advanced computer knowledge (networking/communications/troubleshooting)
• Cyber security knowledge
• Experience with JIRA, JIRA Agile, Bamboo and Agile practices
• Experience bringing up and troubleshooting new hardware
• Master's degree (desirable)

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,900 - $90,000.
