Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the accounting process, working closely with different departments, and being involved in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

• Handle general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial results and help investigate any variances or discrepancies.
• Support inventory and cost accounting functions.
• Assist with fixed assets and related reporting.
• Help ensure financial information is accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
• Participate in financial reporting and special projects.
• Look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
• Work with teams across the organization to support business needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or a similar industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
• Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities.
