Substitute Instructional Aide

Location:

North Brunswick, NJ 08902 Compensation: $19/h – 1099 Independent Contractor

We are seeking reliable Substitute Instructional Aides to support teachers and students across the district. Instructional aides assist with classroom activities, provide academic support, and help maintain a positive learning environment when regular aides are unavailable.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 60 college credits OR successful completion of the Para Pro Assessment Test
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assist teachers with classroom instruction and student supervision
• Must pass required criminal history background check

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson delivery and student activities
• Support individual or small groups of students as needed
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe classroom environment
• Help with instructional materials, classroom setup, and administrative tasks
• Report progress or concerns to teachers and school staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
