This position involves diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, performing a wide range of vehicle services, and ensuring every customer receives excellent service. Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of mechanical services in an efficient and timely manner
- Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete accurate and detailed repair documentation
- Follow manufacturer specifications to ensure repairs meet quality standards
- Stay up to date with technical training, certifications, and bulletins
- Communicate clearly with customers about needed repairs and services
- Work collaboratively with the service team while keeping work spaces clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ford Certification preferred (not required)
- ASE Certification preferred
- Prior Ford dealership experience strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanics, and components
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods
