Cash Application Specialist

Absolute Pharmacy, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cash Application Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately reconciling pharmacy payments against receivables, researching unpaid or short-paid claims, and ensuring payments are properly posted and balanced.

• Enter and post accounts receivable receipts
• Apply debits and credits to accounts
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Balance daily cash
• Research copayments and reimbursement issues
• Track deposits
• Maintain accurate filing and records
• Process margin reimbursement
• Post cash from various payers and non-adjudicated claims
• Print and balance reimbursement reports
• Process refunds
• Import remittance advice
• Complete third-party reconciliations
• Assist with other cash application and billing-related duties as needed

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• A strong written and verbal communicator
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiar with Sage accounting software and Net Rx billing systems is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately with financial and payment information
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent attention to detail, as accuracy is critical to this position
