Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a team in North Canton, Ohio on a long-term contract basis. This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working with high-volume financial information, investigating payment issues, and supporting day-to-day accounts receivable activities. The ideal candidate brings strong accuracy, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with collections and accounting partners.

Responsibilities:

• Apply incoming payments accurately through Cash App and related accounting processes
• Investigate unapplied cash items and resolve discrepancies by reviewing account and payment details
• Support the collections team by conducting account research and providing documentation needed for follow-up
• Enter financial and customer payment data into internal records with a high degree of precision
• Review invoices and payment activity to help maintain accurate accounts receivable balances
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize information, track outstanding items, and assist with reporting needs
• Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders to help resolve billing and payment questions
