This is a roll-up-your-sleeves purchasing role. You'll be working through vendor lists, emails, and documentation to keep procurement organized and on track. We're looking for someone who doesn't mind the grind, pays attention to details, and gets things done.

This is an onsite, hourly position. Our North Canton, Ohio office offers a welcoming and conveniently located work environment, including a cafeteria with hot meals, a coffee café, and a gym for employees.
Candidates must currently reside in NE Ohio. Sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.

Position Summary

Facilitate day to day Indirect Purchasing activities, including driving cost optimization, supplier accountability, process excellence, and sourcing initiatives across categories.

Essential Functions
  • Vendor vetting and setup - requesting and receiving required paperwork
  • Handle the purchasing of supplies, shop tools and other items needed for both the corporate office and the field.
  • Support broader procurement strategy initiatives by analyzing spend data and identifying opportunities for process improvement and vendor consolidation
As Needed Functions
  • Coordinate the implementation of new or updated national accounts, including overseeing office supplies, furniture, and travel.
  • Support all functions across the Procurement Department.
  • Assist with the RFQ process from vendor evaluation through pricing analysis and negotiation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
  • Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.
  • Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions.
  • Basic familiarity with accounts payable and accounting processes is a plus
