Project Manager – Construction
Direct Hire - North Canton, Ohio (In Office/Hybrid)
Salary: $80, (BOE); benefits, bonus, 401k, PTO, Holiday, etc.
Job DescriptionPlan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction activities for projects to achieve an on time and on budget project, which will result in satisfied clients, as well as a satisfied construction team.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and support for the onsite construction team as well as in the office.
- Support personnel to achieve an on-time and on budget project, which will result in satisfied clients, as well as a satisfied construction team.
- Complete responsibility for assigned projects including budget, schedule and owner satisfaction.
- Responsible for project buyout including review of sub bids, writing complete and detailed subcontract scopes, and verification of subcontractor abilities to perform on the project.
- Responsible for project scheduling and entry of the initial schedule and weekly updates and monitoring of the schedule.
- Responsible for the project budget including monthly forecast of costs to complete and review and signoff of all costs to date. Also responsible for reporting and tracking any allowances.
- Responsible for owner satisfaction of the assigned projects.
- Responsible for closeout of the project including punch-list signoff, collection and verification of all warranties, operating and maintenance manuals, collection of final payment, final settlement with all subcontractors.
- Assist with preconstruction and new business opportunities.
- Project Management Experience 2-5+ years in commercial, multi-family, light industrial.
- Understanding of ADA guidelines and compliance.
- Proficient with technology - Specifically Procore.
- Possess good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated abilities as a creative, proactive problem solver.
- Has performed subcontract buyout and prepared subcontracts with complete scopes of work.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed project schedules.
