Construction Project Coordinator
Direct Hire - North Canton, Ohio
Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 (BOE), Benefits, PTO, Holidays, 401k, etc.

The Construction Project Coordinator - supports the planning and execution of construction and renovation projects. This role plays a critical part in coordinating between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, often within tight schedules and active environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers in coordinating multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • Assist in developing and maintaining aggressive project schedules to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, vendors, landlords, and clients
  • Track and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages
  • Assist with permitting, landlord approvals, and compliance requirements specific to environments
  • Monitor project budgets, invoices, and cost tracking to ensure financial accuracy
  • Coordinate procurement, delivery, and tracking of materials to meet tight timelines
  • Support job site teams by resolving logistical issues and ensuring timely flow of information
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and reporting
  • Attend project meetings and distribute notes, action items, and updates
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction coordination, preferably in multi-family or commercial construction
  • Experience managing multiple fast-track projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of construction processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
  • Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, drawings, change orders)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
