We are looking for experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained instructors and teach year‑round classes. The position is campus‑based in North Canton, OH.
Instructor Duties- Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10‑20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
- Learn the material and deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
- Conduct class sessions lasting 4½ hours, either day or evening.
- Work part‑time, typically 9‑18 hours per week.

- 3+ years of experience in the field and a national certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA from AMT) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA from DANB), with formal training in a dental assisting program like Ross. (If no formal education, 5+ years of experience and national certification also accepted.)
- Interest in teaching or prior experience.
- Flexibility, patience, and a passion to learn.
- Physical abilities: stand for extended periods, move around the classroom, and perform student participation activities. Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
- Visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use a telephone, read materials, use a whiteboard, and operate classroom/office equipment. Reasonable accommodations available.
- Ability to use current technology to maintain student records.
- Effective communication skills in classroom and individual settings.
- Knowledge of materials to be taught and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum.
- Adaptability in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Professionalism in manner, dress, and conduct as a representative of Ross.
- Maintain objectivity and treat all students equally.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Adherence to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.
- Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum is preferred.
- Perform related work as required.
