HVAC/R Instructor Position

Stark State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time HVAC/R instructor to join our Applied Technology Department. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement. Typical responsibilities include delivering engaging and effective instruction in various automotive and transportation courses while demonstrating effective communication skills, fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that meets the needs of our student body, implementing innovative teaching methodologies and integrating technology to enhance the learning experience, contributing to curriculum development and assessment activities, providing academic advisement and support to students, and assisting with department activities to promote the success of Stark State College.

Required qualifications include a HS diploma/degree, five years of trade or apprenticeship experience, HVAC or related journeyman status and/or associates or bachelors in HVAC/R or specialized certifications in the field of study, and a 10-hour OSHA certification preferred. You will be a great fit if you can effectively communicate with multifaceted student populations and have strong organizational skills.
