- Support the design, test, and evaluation of sensors on trailer suspension components for the Electronic Controls Business Unit.
- Support requirements development, validation and traceability to/from source code.
- Build and validate hardware-in-loop system to test trailer electronic components including ABS, sensors, and harnessing.
- Validate new versions of Service Tool (App) and report issues and observations in a systematic manner.
- Benchmark control strategies and sensors for new applications.
- Develop logic and scripts for sensing solutions.
- Analyze data using data analysis and visualization tools like MATLAB.
- Document testing and results in reports/engineering documents, as necessary.
- Assist in electronics lab setup tasks.
- Enrolled student working towards a bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Strong hands-on electronics and mechanical skills
- Preferred to be at the Junior or Senior Level.
- Previous Co-op experience or ability to work back-to-back sessions is a plus.
- Strong PC Skills (spreadsheets, database management, word processing) a must and proficiency in data processing/scripting a plus.
- Strong numeric and analytical skills.
- Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
- Ability to move about office and plant designated areas
- Frequent sitting, work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Occasional need to crawl under commercial vehicles
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
