Environmental Engineer
Are you a Solid Waste focused Senior Level Project Manager who is experienced with municipal solid waste landfill design and construction? In this role, you will become part of and lead a dedicated team that provides engineering, operational and environmental compliance support services to a wide range of both public sector and private clients, primarily in the state of Ohio. Location: North Canton, OH (flexible to work in Maumee, Cleveland, North Canton or Columbus with hybrid options)

Key Responsibilities- Lead a team that works on a variety of solid waste management-related projects, including engineering design and permitting, preparation of construction bid documents, construction QA/QC and certification, as well as environmental compliance and operational assistance at municipal and industrial solid waste facilities.
- Develop project work scope and budgets.
- Manage projects involving multidisciplinary teams.
- Understand permit conditions required for landfill construction and operations.
- In-depth understanding and management of project budget.
- Ensure deadlines are met and planned operations are properly completed.
- Experience in Ohio landfill and solid waste management engineering is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage projects, site development, permitting, design, and construction QA/QC, preferably including acting as an Engineer-of-Record or Certifying Engineer.
- Candidate must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication and writing skills.
- Must be able to positively communicate and coordinate with clients.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred, with at least 10 years of experience in assigned discipline.
- Ohio P.E. or desire to obtain a P.E. is needed.
