Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in North Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design and engineering with a strong focus on motor and pneumatic system sizing, as well as design for manufacturing principles. No relocation assistance will be provided.

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software such such as Inventor or equivalent.
• Perform servo and AC motor sizing to meet application requirements.
• Size gearboxes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Size pneumatic components including cylinders and related hardware.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to improve product manufacturability and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical engineering, and project management.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage project documentation and customer interactions effectively.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.

• Proficiency with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or equivalent.
• Experience in servo and AC motor sizing.
• Knowledge of gearbox sizing and selection.
• Experience with pneumatic system sizing, including cylinders and components.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Familiarity with CRM software for project and customer management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Post Secondary education or on the job management experience preferred.
• 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, onsite in North Canton Ohio.
