Enterprise Risk & Reporting Lead

Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we're on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.

Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.

At Finom, we're not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we're empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business.

The Enterprise Risk & Reporting Lead plays a critical role in building and operating the company's enterprise risk. The role is responsible for establishing and executing a robust enterprise risk management framework that supports safe growth, regulatory readiness, and informed decision-making across the organization. It ensures that key risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported in a consistent and forward-looking manner, aligned with regulatory expectations and the company's strategic objectives.

This role provides the structure and insight needed to define risk appetite, assess resilience under stress, support capital and liquidity planning, and ensure that new products and strategic changes are evaluated through a clear risk lens. By translating complex risk information into clear, actionable reporting for senior management and governance bodies, the role enables transparency, accountability, and effective oversight. Initially operating as a hands-on role, it will evolve into a leadership position responsible for building and scaling the enterprise risk and reporting function in line with the company's growth and licensing ambitions.
